چکیده

Background Contrast-enhanced whole heart coronary Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) at 3.0 Tesla (T) allows noninvasive detection of obstructive stenoses. Automated vessel segmentation and tracking of centerlines is important for quantitative measurement of stenosis, but remains challenging for coronary MRA. We aimed to develop and validate automated coronary artery segmentation from contrastenhanced whole-heart coronary Magnetic Resonance Angiography at 3.0T.

Assessment of coronary artery disease using 3.0T magnetic resonance coronary angiography: a national multicenter trial

Background 3.0T contrast enhanced whole-heart coronary magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) is a promising method for noninvasive, radiation-free detection and exclusion of obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD); however, the accuracy of this approach has not been determined in a multicenter trial. Methods An ECG-triggered, navigator-gated, inversion-recovery prepared, segmented gradient-ech...

The Influence of Sublingual Nitroglycerin on Contrast -Enhanced Whole-Heart Coronary Magnetic Resonance Angiography at 3.0-T

PURPOSE. This study investigates the influence of sublingual nitroglycerin spray on the lumen diameter, number of side branches visualized, average vessel length shown on 3.0-T contrast-enhanced whole-heart coronary magnetic resonance angiography (WH-CMRA). BACKGROUND. Organic nitrates are potent vasodilators that dilate both normal and abnormal coronary arteries by relaxing vascular smooth mus...

3.0T whole-heart coronary magnetic resonance angiography performed with 32-channel cardiac coils: a single-center experience.

BACKGROUND Whole-heart coronary magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) is a promising method for noninvasive, radiation-free detection and exclusion of obstructive coronary artery disease; however, the required imaging time and robustness of the technique are not yet satisfactory. We evaluated the value of whole-heart coronary MRA at 3.0T using a 32-channel cardiac coil, which reduces image-acqui...

Feasibility of Whole-Heart Coronary MRA on 3 Tesla Using Ultrashort-TR SSFP VIPR

Introduction: Coronary magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) has been performed on 3.0T to generate higher SNR compared to 1.5T. In addition, high blood-to-myocardium contrast could be achieved using the SSFP technique [1]. However, SSFP is highly sensitive to field inhomogeneities. In particular, signal nulls occur every 1/TR in resonance frequency, producing “banding” artifacts in images. With...

Contrast-enhanced whole-heart coronary magnetic resonance angiography at 3.0-T: a comparative study with X-ray angiography in a single center.

OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study was to prospectively evaluate the diagnostic performance of 3.0-T contrast-enhanced whole-heart coronary magnetic resonance angiography (CMRA) in patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD). BACKGROUND A slow-infusion, contrast-enhanced whole-heart CMRA approach has recently been developed at 3.0-T. The accuracy of this technique has not yet been...
